Introduction




Our team has decided to focus our MIS project on Bed Bath & Beyond. We plan on conducting research to figure out how BB&B incorporates information system in their everyday growth. We also plan of focusing more on the order fulfillment process.

Bed Bath & Beyond is a chain of domestic merchandise retail stores in the United Staes, Puerto Rico, Canada, and Mexico. Bed Bath & Beyond primarily sells good for the bedroom and bathroom, as well as kitchen and dining room. BB&B was founded right here in Springfield, NJ in 1971 by Warren Eisenberg and Leonard Feinstein. Their headquarters is located down the street from Kean in Union, NJ. 

Bed Bath & Beyond has a total of  1,504 locations including all their acquired stores such as Harmon Face Value, Christmas Tree Shop, buybuyBaby, and etc. They have over 58,000 employees across all stores and and corporate offices.
